Junaidul Haque is a renowned writer of fiction and essays. He was born in Kishoreganj in 1955 and was brought up in Dhaka. He enrolled as a student in the Department of English, University of Dhaka in 1975 and obtained his MA in English in 1978 (exam held in 1981). He retired as the General Manager, Finance and Admin, of a reputed foreign airline in 2018. He has eight books of fiction and essays to his credit.
